I love helping deep thinkers, people-pleasers, and empaths overcome their traumas and insecurities and grow in self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem. I have experience in a true variety of therapy and mental health settings, from community mental health, to criminal populations, to adults and children in private practice and non-profit settings. These experiences have shaped my knowledge and confidence in being able to understand people from all walks of life and able to work with issues from any developmental stage, from 3-5 years old to the elderly. My current focus is helping young adults (20s and 30s) heal from their childhoods and step into adulthood with the self-confidence to consciously create the life their soul is pulling them toward. I am knowledgeable in many counseling theories, but the foundations I use most often are Humanistic, Person-Centered, and Gestalt therapies. Your personal beliefs are important and centered in therapy, and as such I do ask clients about their philosophical, existential, and spiritual beliefs about life. We can incorporate these into your therapy experience as you explore what you believe, the meaning you find in life, and what is healthy and supportive for you at this time.
